OptiLIFT System is contraindicated for patients with pacemakers, defibrillators, any implanted electronic device, or metal implanted in the treatment area. Side effects may appear either at the time of treatment or shortly after. Side effects may include any of the following: prolonged or significant pain, damage to natural skin texture (blister, burn), excessive skin redness (erythema), excessive swelling (edema), fragile skin bruising, excessive itching, change of pigmentation (hyper pigmentation or hypopigmentation), scarring transient skin break-out such as acne and pimples.
Pre- Treatment Instructions:

Skin resurfacing procedures

Deep chemical peels or deep dermabrasion

Fillers, collagen injections, fat injections, or other injectable biomaterials
​6 Weeks Prior to Treatment

Avoid dermal fillers
​2 Weeks Prior to Treatment
Avoid:

Excessive sun exposure and tanning (natural sun, tanning beds, and self-tanning products)

Neuromodulators (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, Daxxify, Letybo, Jeuveau)
​1 Day Prior to Treatment

If you have a history of cold sores, begin your prescribed antiviral medication (e.g., Valtrex, Famvir, Zovirax) the day before, the day of, and the day after treatment
​Day of Treatment

Inform staff if you have a pacemaker, internal defibrillator, any implanted medical device, tattoos or permanent makeup in the treatment area​

Do not wear makeup or skincare products

Notify staff immediately if the treatment are feels too hot

Apply a broad- spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) daily and reapply every 2 hours

Post- Treatment Instructions:
First 24 Hours

Mild redness and swelling may occur; this typically resolves within 24-72 hours

Apply cool compresses for comfort as needed

Avoid direct sun exposure; use a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher)

Avoid activities that generate heat or cause sweating

Avoid moisturizers and cosmetic products until redness and swelling have resolved
​3 Days After Treatment

Avoid Products containing Retinoids, Glycolic or Salicylic acid, AHAs/BHAs, and exfoliants or scrubs

Use only gentle cleansers
